Found at the amazing Art Deco Hotel Montana in Lucerne, the Montana Beach Club is a lovely mix of two of the best things in life: a rooftop bar and a beach club.

The perfect spot for an elevated escape, the wooden decked terrace comes equipped with comfy lounges, cushions and seating arrangements, but also sand and palm trees, creating a true Mediterranean vibe.

From the hillside location, you get some fantastic and panoramic views. Not over the ocean (even though it might feel like it), but something equally as good, with breathtaking vistas over Lake Lucerne and the mountains of Central Switzerland.

Open every day from May to September (depending on the weather), the Montana Beach Club serves refreshing beverages, from mixed cocktails to 'Married in a Bottle drinks', as well as light snacks.

Pretty much the ultimate venue to enjoy the summer and the sun in Lucerne, and if you would get to hot, there is a whirlpool and a rainsforest shower to help you out.

Tip: While the Montana Beach Club is a summer-only destination, the Art Deco Hotel Montana offers rooftop pleasure year-round. The 10 five star level suites at the hotel comes with highly popular jaccuzzis on its own rooftops.
