Overview
Neighborhood rooftop bar in South Philadelphia, with amazing skyline views.
Located on top of the former Bok High School building in South Philadelphia, the Bok Bar is a seasonal rooftop bar, offering beer-garden vibes and spectacular views over the Philly skyline.
Closed for priavte events Mondays and Tuesdays, but all other days from April through October, everyone are welcome to enjoy the open-air vibes, stunning vistas and plenty of events.
The Bok Bar menu includes a large selection of beers, including local craft brew, some wines and cocktails, as well a tasty bar bites from different food partners, changing throughout the season.
The all-are-welcome rooftop terrace is spacious and offers plenty of room, but since only a small section is available for reservation (Wed/Thurs/Sun), it is advisable to be in good time on a sunny afternoon.
During the colder months, when the Bok Bar is closed, you can head to Irwin’s, located on the opposite side on the same floor. This unique restaurant comes with both indoor seating and an outdoor terrace, and here you can enjoy modern Sicilian fare and natural wines year long.
