Overview
Modern Sicilian fare and natural wines, complemented with panoramic South Philly views.
Located on the 8th floor of the former Bok High School building in South Philadelphia (opposite Bok Bar), Irwin’s is a unique rooftop venue, mixing Sicilian tastes with sweeping views.
Part whimsical-chic indoor lounge, with mismatched furniture and old graffiti on the walls, the prime spot at Irwin’s is the charming and seasonal 30-seat outdoor terrace, where you can see basically all of South Philly.
Run by chef Michael Vincent Ferreri, Irwin’s serves a menu where modern Sicilian fare is complemented with a fine selection of natural wines and crafted cocktails. Try one of the pasta's, or go full Italian dinner with mezze, pasta, entree and dessert.
Combining great food with great views, Irwin’s rooftop is a prime spot to impress a date or celebrate a special occasion, but works equally well for some after work cocktails with friends. The outdoor terrace is usually open from May to October, and reservations are highly recommended to secure a seat.
