Overview
Elevated and iconic rooftop with a spectacular Shanghai view.
The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong holds several different restaurants and bars, but it is the 58th floor Flair Rooftop Restaurant & Bar that is the real flagship. Not only the highest rooftop bar in Shanghai, but in all of China.
From the magnificent rooftop you get a fantastic view of Shanghai. Both a cool close up of the Pearl Tower, and being one of few rooftops on the Pudong side, some rare views of the Huangpu district. Often ranked as one of the world's best rooftop bars.
Located inside the IFC Tower, Flair has a quite large and very nice indoor area, but it is the split level outdoor terrace that is the real icing on the cake. Stylish and smart decorated with lounge sofas and a few upper level bar stools, offering front row seats to what feels like all of Shanghai.
The rooftop bar offers a large set of creative and well-made signature cocktails, taking inspiration from the history of both China and all of Asia. There is also a large food menu, serving tapas-style dishes from Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Thailand and China. During weekend afternoons you can also indulge in some lovely afternoon tea.
Flair Shanghai is a popular rooftop among the chich and stylish, and since there are limited numbers of seatings on the terrace reservations are highly recommended.
Tip: Enjoy the rooftop and an amazing 52nd floor SPA with indoor infinity pool by booking your stay at the 5-star The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong.
