Barrio at Hornhuset

Rustic and cosy rooftop bar on top of eventful venue.

Barrio is a small, cozy and colorful rooftop bar, located at the top floor of Hornhuset at Södermalm in Stockholm. This easy going rooftop is open during the summer months, and the atmosphere is supposed to match the name ('Barrio' / 'Neighborhood') where you casually show up for a drink, a bite and some conversations.

The rooftop bar offers light bites, Sol beer, wine and some refreshing drinks along with cool views over Långholmsgatan and the Hornstull area. Open during summer nights and also daytime in the weekend, the rooftop does not take reservations. So just show up, sit down on a park bench or one of the second hand chairs and enjoy the sun.

With Barrio just open during summer, the indoor part of Hornhuset is however very much a year round destination for good times. Here you find three different bars and restaurants to enjoy from noon to late at night.

Biergarten on the first floor is, just as is sounds, an interpretation of a Bavarian beer cottage. One floor up is Laika, a very eventful and ever-changing bar. And then on the 3rd floor you find The Blue Oyster, a venue filled with cocktails, drag bingo, drag Queens and DJ’s.
