The 4-star Scandic Foresta is located on the cliffs of the island Lidingö, about a 10 minute drive outside of the Stockholm city center. And the hotel comes with a great 6th floor wooden deck rooftop terrace, offering magical views over the surrounding waters and in towards Stockholm.

Open during summer evenings, this is a prefect rooftop to enjoy a harmonious atmosphere, refreshing drinks and great food and BBQ. If the night should get chilly there is infrared heating, and sometimes also jazz evenings getting the temperature up.

With location a bit outside the city center, guests at the Scandic Foresta rooftop bar is mainly local Lidingö residents and guests at the hotel. But it is definitely worth the trip on a fine summer evening for one of the more harmounius rooftop experiences Stockholm has to offer.
