Overview
Modern rooftop on top of historic buidling, with stunning views of the Toronto skyline.
The fantastic and historic The Broadview Hotel in Riverside is blessed with an equally stunning rooftop bar and terrace.
Located on top of a building originally built in 1891, The Rooftop comes with both an indoor lounge equipped with a 360° glass facade and pyramidal skylight roof, as well as an expansive outdoor terrace. So the stunning views over the Toronto skyline and the Don River are available all around.
The rooftop bar menu includes a tasty selection of shareable bar bites and plates, well-made signature cocktails, as well as a nice array of wine and beers. Pretty much all you need for a great couple of hours with a group of friends.
Quite hip and hot in atmosphere, The Rooftop turns extra vibrant during weekend nights, when live DJs take the stage from 9pm and well into the night.
Reservations are possible for the indoor lounge, but the rooftop terrace works on a first come, first served basis. So try to be in good time on a hot summer's day.
You can also visit The Rooftop during winter, when the indoor lounge usually is tranformed into 'The Summit Lodge'. Taking inspiration from the world class ski lodges, this is an after-ski and winter getaway, right in the heart of downtown Toronto.
