Created by the award winning One Off Hospitality, and sister venue to the highly popular Avec in West Loop, bar avec is a buzzing and open-air Chicago rooftop, opened in 2021.

Located on the 8th floor of 640 N Lasalle Drive in River North, the lush and urban rooftop is inspired by the casual seaside diners in coastal Spanish & Portuguese towns dotting the Iberian Peninsula. But instead of Mediterranean views, here you get sweeping panoramics of Chicago’s magnificent skyline.

The rooftop menu goes hand in hand with the setting, offering flavors of Spain and Portugal, featuring seasonal vegetables and seafood-forward shared plates, as well as refreshing and crafted cocktails, and a crisp selection of wines.

Filled with a lively and comfortable atmosphere, bar avec is open seasonally from April to October, inviting to anything from quick drinks and bites, day drinking and brunch with friends, or a full dinner under the stars.
