Overview
Stylish, multi-level rooftop with breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
LH Rooftop is a fantastic tri-level rooftop bar, located on top of the superb Hilton hotel LondonHouse Chicago, right by the Michigan Avenue bridge and Chicago River.
The tri-level setting starts with an indoor lounge, called LH on 21. One floor up you find the main and largest terrace, located on the 22nd floor and therefore called LH on 22. This is definitely one of the best rooftop bar Chicago, with an absolutely superb view among the city's skyscrapers and out towards Lake Michigan and the Chicago River.
On the 23rd floor the tri-level setting is completed with Cupola, a smaller space where you can book private dining in a luxurious setting. This also makes LondonHouse one of the best rooftop restaurants in Chicago, that can be found here.
All that being said, it is LH on 22 and the main terrace that is usually referred to as the LH rooftop bar. The terrace is luxurious and modernly furnished with lots of seatings - both comfortable lounge furnitures and bar stools.
From the rooftop bar you can order from a fine selection of LH signature and classic cocktails, as well as a large array of crafted beer and wine. There is also an all-day food menu, with everything from American tapas to burgers, and rooftop brunch menu every weekend (11am-2.30pm).
The atmosphere up at the London House rooftop is usually vibrant and fun, with a trendy crowd gathering for Afternoon Tea, brunch, after work cocktails or weekend festivities. Very popular rooftop, so reservations are highly recommended. As is bringing sunscreen for the hot summer days, since this terrace is a real sun trap.
Bottom line: LondonHouse Chicago is a 'must-visit' if you want an unforgettable rooftop bar experience.
