Perched on top of the modern Ivy Hotel in Streeterville, the Sky Terrace is somewhat of a hidden downtown gem.

Sixteen floors above the hectic E Ontario Street, this is an elevated rooftop oasis for relaxing food and drinks, complemented with fantastic views over the Chicago skyline.

Open from May to September, the rooftop terrace comes with a mix of comfy loungers and dining tables. Very open and airy, but since it is all outdoors, it can be closed due to weather.

The Ivy Hotel rooftop menu includes a tasteful selection of small bites, shareables and items off the grill, as well as crafted signature cocktails, wine and a rotating selection of beers.

Visit for relaxing happy hour drinks daily from 4-7pm, or evening bites and cocktails with skyline views. The Sky Terrace at the Ivy Hotel is also a prime spot for special events, like bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays or business outings.
