Devereaux is a chic and intimate rooftop bar and lounge, perched 18 floors up at the fantastic Viceroy Chicago in the Gold Coast area of the city.

While the year-round indoor lounge is stylish enough, the true gem is the seasonal outdoor terrace. Something of a rarity in Chicago, this is a poolside rooftop lounge, and really the go-to spot for summertime vibes in the glittering blue lighting reflecting off the pool.

Apart from a refreshing rooftop pool, the Devereaux terrace comes with a mix of comfy sun loungers, mod white furniture, high-top tables and some amazing views over the Gold Coast skyline and Lake Michigan.

Chilling poolside you can enjoy a selection of crafted signature cocktails, like 'The Devereaux Daiquiri', local brews, wine and tasty small plates created by Chef Lee Wolen.

Visit the Devereaux rooftop during daytime for cool and relaxing hours under the Chicgao sun, or come for cocktails and bites at night when the venue turns into a swanky rooftop lounge. Just remember that the nightly Devereaux dress code is smart casual, and since the terrace is quite limited in space, the best bet is to be in good time.
