Overview
Colorful and hip venue, bringing a large slice of Californian / Mexican vibes to Logan Square.
Located on North California Avenue in Logan Square, Lonesome Rose offers a setting that looks and feels a lot like southern California, just that you are in southwest Chicago instead.
Open, airy and lush both inside and out, the Lonesome Rose rooftop terrace might not be the highest or most panoramic in town, but with a charming and relaxing atmosphere, it is well worth a sunny visit anyway.
Up here you can enjoy a menu filled with Mexican goodies, from empanadas and vegan nachos, to tacos, bowls and burritos. Served as lunch and dinner, and Friday to Sunday also as brunch.
While the food is good, the drinks are even better. Especially the cocktail selection, ranging from crafted signatures to classic Margaritas, served as a pitcher for the whole crew if you like. There is also a large array of beers on tap, and (of course) plenty of tequila and mezcal.
