Overview
The world's largest rooftop venue, overlooking Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.
Opening with a bang during 2019, Offshore Rooftop & Bar was branded as 'the world's largest rooftop bar' by Guinness World Records within a month of its premiere. And it is an impressive venue, set on the third floor of the equally impressive Navy Pier.
Up here you find an all-seasons / all-weather venue, thanks to a 36,000 sq. ft glassed indoor lounge (with a fully retractable roof), leading out to a 20,000 sq. ft terrace, with two private lawns, seven fire pits and even an entertainment and gaming area. All surrounded with panoramic views over Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.
Now size is not all, and luckily Offshore Rooftop & Bar offers a whole lot more. Here you can indulge in small plates of seasonal and contemporary American fare from Executive Chef Michael Shrader, served as lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
The rooftop bar menu is created by Beverage Director Clay Livingston, and includes a nice selection of creative and updated classic cocktails, as well as bubbles, wines and crafted beers.
Offshore Rooftop & Bar is the perfect spot for a sunny lunch, brunch or drinks while exploring the area around Navy Pier, or more sophisticated dinner and cocktails with a view at night, when the venue is +21 (starting 9pm).
