The Living Room is an urban and lush rooftop café and event venue, located on the 5th floor of the Main Change Building in the heart of Maboneng. From this inner city rooftop oasis you get lovely views over the Johannesburg skyline, especially around sunset which is really something extra up here.

This very green and eco-friendly Johannesburg rooftop bar really comes in a beautiful setting, where natural elements are found everywhere in the decor. Both rooftop bar and event venue, Living Room has a bit different vibes at different days.

Early weekdays are usually reserved for private events, while Wednesday to Fridays are open for all to enjoy relaxing and laid-back lunch or sundowners, and Saturday & Sundays are filled with fun vibes, live DJs and party vibes, where all are welcome. Reservations are however higly recommended for weekend events, as they are mighty popular.

The eco 'fresh' setting on the roof terrace also shine through in the quite large food & drinks menu. Eats come in gourmet tapas, salad bowls and bigger bites, where a lot of the options are vegetarian. Drinks range from well-made specialty cocktails and old favourites to a nice wine list and homemade mocktails.

With a funky and laid-back atmosphere, the Living Room rooftop bar is a great choice for your very own and fantastic private event, and for really vibrant vibes during the weekends.
