Alto is a lush roof garden and New Orleans rooftop bar, perched on top of the luxurious and modern Ace Hotel. With venues all over the world, Ace Hotel is known for their high quality and the always beautiful and urban chic décor, and NOLA location and Alto rooftop is no exception.

Located just off Lafayette Square in the heart of New Orleans, the roof bar is open to all everyday to enjoy lunch, dinner and drinks. The Alto rooftop bar serves a mix of seasonal cocktails, craft beers, wines and frozen drinks along with Italian inspired small plates and some grills.

Grab a seat at the tiki-style bar or at one of the tables and enjoy the panoramic views over the downtown skyscrapers. Or even better, lounge away in one of the sun beds right by the lovely and heated rooftop pool, available to all but with a $40 fee for non-guests (make resvations here).

With its chic roof garden vibe, Alto is the perfect New Orleans rooftop bar for relaxing and chill poolside cocktails on weekdays, especially during the 3-7pm happy hour. At weekends the rooftop is more vibrant, and you should be in good time to catch a spot.

The Alto dress code is casual (pool-wear) by day, but for nightly visits there is nothing wrong with dresing up a bit to blend in with the trendy crowd.
