Hot Tin is a classy New Orleans rooftop and cocktail bar, perched on the 11th floor of the fantastic Pontchartrain Hotel, located in the Garden District of Central City New Orleans. Up here, champagne and bright cocktails are complemented with fantastic 270-degree views of the city skyline and Mississippi River.

This used-to-be penthouse of the classic hotel has been turned into a very stylish cocktail lounge, taking inspiration from a 1940s artist’s loft. The indoor lounge comes with smart lounge furniture, a beautiful bar and leads out to the rooftop balcony-terrace.

While it is not huge, it comes with front-row seating to one of the best views in town, and is pretty much a must-visit among the best rooftop bars New Orleans has to offer.

From the rooftop bar you can order delicious, creative and well-crafted cocktails along with a nice selection of champagne, beers and wines. And given the quality, drinks at Hot Tin rooftop comes at very reasonable prices.

Great and sophisticated ambience, combined with fantastic views and drinks, is is no surprise that Hot Tin is a popular place. Come during weekdays for more relaxing cocktails, and do try to catch a sunset from the terrace. At weekends the rooftop is vibrant and more crowded, so be prepared for a bit of a line to take the elevator up to this first come, first served venue.
